Every day in town, you can visit the local markets where vendors offer freshly grown vegetables, locally caught fish from nearby fishing resorts, snacks, and delicious grilled foods. Twice a week, larger markets bring even more variety, featuring everything from clothing and home goods to specialty foods. Additionally, once a month, the local government office hosts a massive market that coincides with popular Thai festivals, drawing vendors from across the region and creating a lively, can’t-miss experience.
Events
Our local area is alive with events year-round, featuring everything from Muay Thai matches and local markets to traditional Thai festivals that include live re-enactments, cultural dances, and even hot air balloons. One of the highlights is Songkran—the Thai New Year—celebrated with the world’s largest water festival. Many of these gatherings are filled with food vendors, live music, and plenty of activities, making vibrant experiences for everyone to enjoy, including visits to nearby fishing resorts.
Fishing
Thailand is one of the few places in the world where you can fish for an incredible variety of species—from Barramundi and Snakehead to massive 500-pound Mekong Catfish and the stunning Arapaima. Within just two hours of our community, you’ll find six different fishing resorts, each offering some of the best freshwater fishing experiences in the world. After a fruitful day of fishing, you can explore local markets and immerse yourself in vibrant Thai festivals that showcase the rich culture of this beautiful country.

Our community is conveniently located between two major cities—Khon Kaen and Nakhon Ratchasima—while also being surrounded by historic temples and cultural landmarks. Just two hours away, one of our favorite destinations is Khao Yai, home to a stunning national park and a collection of unique fishing resorts, including one that beautifully recreates the charm of the Italian countryside. Additionally, visitors can explore local markets and experience vibrant Thai festivals, making it a perfect getaway.
